The house is a dream… We rented the property for birthday celebrations with family and friends - the place exceeded all our expectations. Enough space for everyone to eat together and chat both inside and out, but also lots of private spots to just sit and read or simply enjoy the beautiful views and, especially in the mornings, the absolute calm and quiet. Simply listening to birds in the trees, the humming of bees in the beautiful flowers and bushes, and sometimes even spotting a deer in the distance, was so relaxing - it just felt like paradise. The rooms are all spacious and nicely furnished and the kitchen has everything you could possibly wish for - and more. The pool, its fixtures, and surroundings are splendid and even tempted the more reluctant of swimmers amongst us to enjoy it. There are a number of interesting places to visit within a 20-30 minute drive, but we so much enjoyed the house and surroundings it was difficult to leave. All of us were just enchanted with the house and for Paul and me (but I think we’re not alone), the place is just magic and we hope to return.
