An absolutely stunning historic home with truly incredible views over the Dordogne and the village of Beynac. The bedrooms are all of a good size, and the whole house just oozes character and charm. The hosts were very quick to respond to any questions we had. The location, right in the heart of Beynac and just a few metres from the castle is fantastic, and I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anybody else. The village itself is also gorgeous, with lovely restaurants and boulangeries. It is fantastically located for other castles in the area, and for kayaking down the Dordogne, which we all enjoyed! The only downside was the plumbing, which tended to be very noisy, meaning that whoever made the first cup of tea of the day invariably woke everybody else in the property up too! That was a relatively minor problem for us though, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
